Oregon Ag Fest
April 25-26, 2009
Oregon State Fairgrounds
2330 17th St
Salem, OR

Oregon Ag Fest is an activity-filled festival where kids can touch, taste and experience life on the farm. One of Ag Fest’s goals is to showcase local, farm fresh, and minimally-processed foods that have higher nutritional values and taste better. My kids favorite activities include: planting seedlings, watching chicks hatch, the petting zoo and digging for potatoes.

OR Ag Trivia :
  • About 25 million gallons of ice cream are produced in Oregon.
  • There are 39, 300 farms in Oregon.
  • Oregon leads the nation in production of christmas trees, #2 in the nation for onion production.
