Reflector Art

"Portals Through Time" by Dick Elliott
Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University
900 State Street
Salem, OR 97301

Tomorrow the museum will dedicate "Portals Through Time" which consists of 45-windows that decorate the 2nd floor of the museum. The windows are made from amber, blue, clear, green and red safety reflectors. The kaleidoscope effect they create inside the building is even more artistic. The museum is also celebrating the opening of The Art of Ceremony: Regalia of Native Oregon exhibit and its 10-year anniversary this week.

The windows are beautiful! Have you taken any photos from the inside?

Due to copyright infringement concerns, cameras were not allowed in the museum. Otherwise, I would have been snapping away.
