Death Mask

Prewitt-Allen Archaeological Museum
Corban College
5000 Deer Park Drive
Salem, OR 97301-9330

Today's driving rain chased me indoors to see a small collection of Greek, Egyptian and Middle Eastern arifacts housed in the museum. Along with the death mask (likeness), you could see a full sized mummy case and mummified falcon (real).

Thanks for the visit and the comment.

Wow, what a great photo opportunity. It's not every day I get to shoot something like this ....

Aren't these masks absolutely gorgeous?! I was lucky to see the most beautiful of all, Tutankamon's, at the Cairo museum.
