I am a huge fan of low ground images and this is an exceptional example. The blue sky is gorgeous.

Wow, that cobalt blue and the sharp focus on the lovely flower, combined with your POV make this a deffinate fave!
I'm wishing you good health and much happiness in this new year.

This makes me think of that movie my kids used to watch..
"Honey ,I shrunk the kids"!!!
I would love to be looking up and have such a gorgeous view on flowers.
Great choice.
Happy New Year.

You get a great hooray from this corner. In film, that is the "Great American Hero" shot -- shot low to make the person look more grandiose. This one really puts these flowers on a pedestal.

Funny how this picture didn't get any comments the first go around but ended up with so many this time. I thought it was great the first time around and am glad you picked it for the best of the year.

What a fantastic idea and great execution of this photo! Makes me want to get out there and get closer to the ground, myself (except it's 40 degrees and mizzling right now).

Happy New Year to you!
