The Riding Whip Tree began as a switch used by Florinda Geer during a 1854 pony ride with her beau at the T.T. Geer Ranch (relative of Oregon Governor Geer). After finishing a countryside ride, the young girl stuck her switch into the ground. And it grew...alot.
